On the edge of the Nor'easter

The winds are picking up and we're getting just a hint of the Nor'easter now crossing upstate New York. With the autumn leaves taking flight from the trees as the earth turns from the sun, yes, it's a time to remember.

Breathe life into this feeble heart
Lift this mortal veil of fear
Take these crumbled hopes, etched with tears
We'll rise above these earthly cares

Cast your eyes on the ocean
Cast your soul to the sea
When the dark night seems endless
Please remember me.
